Maritime center Milna

Milna Interpretation center of maritime history is located in the city center and it discovers a long and rich maritime tradition throughout the history of Milna and island Brac as well. Maritime heritage can be viewed through three dominant aspects; fishing, seafaring and traditional ship making.

Vidova Gora

The highest island point on the Adriatic 778 m, is named after the small church of St. Vid built in the 13th or 14th century, which stands at the top of the hill. Vidova gora Top offers spectacular views on Golden horn beach and mainland and neighborting islands. Popular wedding spot, it is a must see during your stay on the island.

Golden Cape, Bol

One of the most famous beaches in Croatia, Golden cape is 530 m (580 y) long pebble beach situated in village Bol. This pebble beach is famous for its  changing shape, since strong wind can change the beach shape. This is an internationally famous windsurfers' spot.

Blaca Hermitage

The 400 years old Blaca monastery is located on the southern side of Brač Island. It began in a stone cave where a couple monks of the Croatian Glagolitic Order used it as a place of solitude to dedicate themselves to God. Blaca was also worldwide known astronomic observatory. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list.

Stonemasonry school in Pučišća is one of only 3 schools in the world where manual stone carving techniques are still taught. School is open for visitors who want to experience tradional craft on display.

The Dominican Monastery in Bol

The Dominican Monastery in Bol was built in the 15th century on the peninsula Glavica. Main attraction is Tintoretto's altar painting Madona with child and Saints. Monastery has a museum with a rich artistic collection and a very interesting garden.

Lovrečina and the Basilica of St. Lawrence

Lovrečina is the only sandy beach on the island of Brač, only 9 km from Supetar. Villa Rustica, Roman query was discovered here. You can also see remains of the Basilica of St Lawrence (5th and 6th centuries).

Island of Brač Museum, Škrip

Rich collection and inventory of the island's past, stretching all the way to the Illyrians can be found in Škrip, the oldest settlement on the island of Brač. The museum houses valuable collections: archaeological, ethnographically and cultural –historical.
